On Infinite Dimensional Algebraic Transformation Groups
We explore orbits, rational invariant functions, and quotients of the natural actions of connected, not necessarily finite dimensional subgroups of the automorphism groups of irreducible algebraic varieties. The applications of the results obtained are given.

In this paper we determine all algebraic transformation groups G, defined over an algebraically closed field k, which operate transitively, but not primitively, on a variety Ω, provided the following conditions are fulfilled. We ask that the (non-effective) action of G on the variety of blocks is sharply 2-transitive, as well as the action on a block ∆ of the normalizer G∆. Also we require shar...
متن کاملbraiding from 2-groups to 2-groupoids
we give the concept of ‘braiding’ for 2-groupoids, and we show that this structure is equivalent tobraided regular, crossed modules.
متن کاملSome algebraic properties of Lambert Multipliers on $L^2$ spaces
In this paper, we determine the structure of the space of multipliers of the range of a composition operator $C_varphi$ that induces by the conditional expectation between two $L^p(Sigma)$ spaces.

We show that the Fibered Isomorphism Conjecture of T. Farrell and L. Jones holds for various mapping class groups. In many cases, we explicitly calculate the lower algebraic K-groups, showing that they do not always vanish.
